  • All of them are Heavenly Candidates. In other words, Jesus Christ knows all of them.
  • They are the Future Church of God in the Book of Revelation. They are 144,000 in Number. Abraham is the earthly father of this CHURCH; God is their Heavenly Father.

TEXT: Matthew 3:1-9.

MEMORY VERSE: Matthew 3:8-9, “Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to yourselves, we have Abraham as our father, for I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones”.

Salient Points:

  • When Jesus Christ started His Ministry after His temptation by Satan, He started by Proclaiming: “Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand” – Matthew 4:17.
  • When Jesus sent out His 12 Disciples, He instructed them to preach, saying: “The Kingdom of God (Heaven) is at hand” – Matthew 10:7. Read Matthew 10:1-8.
  • Almost all the Parables of Jesus are specifically about the Kingdom of Heaven. References of some of the Parables in the Bible: Matthew 13:24-33, this text contains 3 Parables: The Parables of the Tares of the Field, Mustard seed, and the Leaven.
  • After the death of Jesus on the cross, His Disciples expanded the Gospel of the Kingdom: read Acts 3:11-24. Peter in Acts 3:19 said, “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord”.
  • The Kingdom of Heaven is the HOPE of all the children of God. Read Luke 16:19-31 (the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus).

The Day of God in the Bible has many synonyms, e.g. The Day of Slaughter, The Day of Doom, The Day of Distress, The Day of Trouble, The Day of Jacob’s Trouble, The Day of Remembrance, The Day of Sorrow, The Day of Vengeance, etc.

TEXT: Isaiah 13:6-16.

MEMORY VERSE: Isaiah 13:11 – “I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible”.

Let us study the following Bible references spoken by the Old Testament Prophets: (Isaiah 17:1-9; 24:21-22; 34:8), (Jeremiah 17:15-18; 18:20-23; 23:20-22; 25:30-37; 30:7), (Ezekiel 7:7-13; 38:19-23), Hosea 2:16-23, Joel 2:10-11, (Amos 2:14-16; 5:18-20; 6:3-4), Zephaniah 1:14-18, Zechariah 14:5-9 and Malachi 3:14-18.

  • Jesus Christ in His Ministry on earth spoke about the Day of the Lord as the Day of Vengeance, Read Luke 21:22-23, Luke 21:26 and Luke 12:49.
  • After the death of Jesus, His Disciples spoke about the Day also: 2 Peter 3:10-14, Revelation to John 6:12-17; 9:6 and 16:21. Even “Paul” spoke about it in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-9.

SECRET NOTE: Without the Day of the Lord, the Kingdom of God will not come!

WEEK 8: … on the 14th Day of September, 2014.

TOPIC: The Judgement of God has been Ongoing

The Judge (God) has been executing judgement from the very beginning. What does this mean? He judges individuals, families, nations, even the world, for their sins and iniquities.

The first person that God Judged and CURSED in the Bible is Cain, Genesis 4:11-12: “So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A Fugitive and a Vagabond you shall be on the earth”.

TEXT: Genesis 6:1-13.

  • This was the first time that God judged the whole world.

MEMORY VERSE: Genesis 6:13, “And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth”.

Salient Notes:

  • God judged two Nations: Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 18:17-33; 19:1-29.
  • God also judged Egypt because of her wickedness, Genesis 15:13-14 refers: God used Moses for this (study Exodus 2:23-25; 3:1-10).
  • God also judged Israel severally because she rejected God. He once used Nebuchadnezzar, an ungodly king for this, 2 kings 25:1-11 refers.
  • Now the FINAL JUDGEMENT! 2 Peter 2:1-7, Matthew 24:37-39, Luke 17:26-30.

WEEK 9: … on the 21st Day of September, 2014.

TOPIC: The last Hour is Now! and it is Ongoing

The last Hour is also called the last Day or the Final Judgement. It is the Day that God will wrap up all things, and brings in the New Era called the New World. This World shall last forever.

TEXT: Daniel 12:1-13 and Matthew 24:1-33.

MEMORY VERSE: Matthew 24:32-33. “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near – at the doors”.

Signals of the last Hour (Day)

  • Wickedness shall increase – Daniel 12:10.
  • Trouble shall multiply – Daniel 12:1 and Matthew 24:21-22.
  • Men will be lovers of themselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers … (2 Timothy 3:1-7 and 2 Peter 2:1-3).
  • Knowledge shall increase – Daniel 12:4.
  • ANTICHRISTS shall abound – 1 John 2:15-19.

What should be Our attitude at the last Hour (Day)?

  • Holiness – 2 Peter 3:11-12.
  • Patience, like the Farmer – James 5:1-11.
  • Faith, like Noah – Hebrews 11:7.
  • Praying out the Will of GOD.
  • Obedience to the Cause of God – we can learn this from Abraham in Hebrews 11:8-10.
  • The last Hour (Day) belongs to God, when it is FINISHED, it will become MISSION accomplished to the Sons of God.

WEEK 10: … on the 28th Day of September, 2014.

TOPIC: What is the Purpose of God for Creation?

TEXT: Genesis 1:26-30 and 9:1-3.

MEMORY VERSE: Genesis 1:28 – “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth”.

Key Notes:

There is a SECRET PLAN of God for Creation. He wants to know those who REALLY LOVE HIM. God achieved this purpose through INSTRUMENTS of TEST. The Bible is full of Instruments of TEST, beginning from the Time of Adam. Let us look at some few examples from the Bible: Genesis 2:15-17, Exodus 15:22-26, Exodus 16:1-4; 17:1-7; 20:18-20; 33:1-4, - In Exodus 33:3, God disappeared into oblivion and said: “Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people”.

  • When all the Instruments of Test of God are finished, God will unveil His Secret PLAN: Revelation of His Children - Romans 8:18-21, Revelation 7:1-4 and 14:1-5.
  • The New Gospel is the “Gospel of the Cross”. This was REVEALED by Jesus, and it is the last Instrument of Test – Read Matthew 16:24, Matthew 22:36-40, John 14:15-17 and John 14:23-27.
  • Some Disciples who understood Jesus’ Gospel: Peter - 1 Peter 2:20-22, John the beloved - 1 John 2:15-17, and James, the brother of Jesus - James 5:7-8.

Wisdom Tip: Denials are the media through which God tests all His children.

WEEK 11: … on the 5th Day of October, 2014.

TOPIC: The Unchangeable Pattern of God

God is a Man of War – Exodus 15:3; it is certain that His Children are also Men of War. When God calls you to work for Him you immediately become a Soldier of God.

TEXT: 2 Timothy 2:3-7.

MEMORY VERSE: 2 Timothy 2:4 – “No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a SOLDIER”.

  • In the physical dispensation, the Soldiers of God fought with Physical and Spiritual weapons, example is David. Let us look at the Scriptures (Bible) to see some of the Soldiers of God.
  • Moses: Exodus 4:1-8, Exodus 14:11-31 and Numbers 11:10-15 (Moses’ Complaint).
  • Joshua: (Joshua 1:1-11; 3:9-17; 5:11-15; 6:1-5, 20-22) and Joshua 7:6-11 (Joshua’s Complaint).
  • Elijah: 1 king 18:17-46 and 1 king 19:1-7 (Elijah’s Complaint).
  • Gideon: Judges 6:11-16, 23-32; 7:1-7, 16-25.
  • Ezekiel: Ezekiel 3:1-9.
  • In the Holy Spirit era, the Soldiers of God no longer carry Physical weapons, because our Father (Jesus Christ) said we should not. The armies of God now fight with the Sword of the Spirit (WORD OF GOD) – Ephesians 6:17 refers.

Examples of Sons of God who fought with the WORD:

  • Stephen: Acts 7:1-60.
  • Peter and Colleagues: Acts 5:28-42.
  • John: Revelation 1:9-20.

WEEK 12: … on the 12th Day of October, 2014.

TOPIC: The Mission of God on Earth

God has a Mission on Earth! It is certain that His Sons also have a Mission. This Mission is the WILL of God for CREATION. It therefore means that all the Sons of God must key into the CAUSE of GOD. He uses us to fulfill His Mission on Earth. His pathway towards fulfilling this mission is to pass us through an ALIEN (foreign) LAND, Called this “World”. In this “World”, we are Sojourners (Strangers).

TEXT: Hebrews 11:1-15.

MEMORY VERSE: Hebrews 11:13 – “ These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were STRANGERS and PILGRIMS on earth”.

Our Mission

  • To fulfill the Mission (WILL) of God, e.g. Abraham – Genesis 22:1-18. God tested Abraham in this passage; he passed the TEST, and he fulfilled the Covenant of Blessing, Fruitfulness and Multiplication that Adam lost. The BLOODLINE of Abraham becomes the lineage of God.
  • To advance the CAUSE of God e.g. Moses – He crossed the Israelites through the Red Sea. Joshua crossed them also through the Jordan and he divided the Land of CANAAN to them – Joshua 11:21-23.
  • To Confirm the Purpose of God – JESUS did this as a FORMULA (Galatians 4:4-7).
  • For we (Sons of God) to be JUDGES – (1 Corinthians 6:1-3), and afterward God will reveal us as we MARCH to Zion (Heavenly Jerusalem) as SOLDIERS of the CROSS – Revelation 21:1-3.

WEEK 13: … on the 19th Day of October, 2014.

TOPIC: The Time of God!

The Time of God is a PERIOD which God sets under His own AUTHORITY - Acts 1:7 refers. When this Time comes, nobody can ANNUL it. The Time of God is different from the Time of Man; this is because, God is BEHIND or BEFORE MAN. However, man finds it very difficult to BELIEVE and to WAIT for the TIME of God.

TEXT: Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.

MEMORY VERSE: Ecclesiastes 3:1 and 4 – “to everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance”.

The Time of God can be for Good or for Disaster. Let us look at the Bible for some examples:

  • Genesis 18:1-15 and Genesis 17:15-19. The FULFILMENT – Genesis 21:1-6; a time for Good.
  • 1 Kings 13:1-2. The FULFILMENT – 2 Kings 23:14-20; a time for Disaster.

The Time and Mind of God for this Generation!

  • Judgement: This GENERATION is destined for Doom, Disaster, Sorrow, Distress, etc. At this period, the Antichrists and False Prophets, who carry the Bible to steal will declare that they are no longerProphets” – Zechariah 13:1-6. All the sons of Satan will be judged.
  • God will separate the WORLD: the Sheep and the Goats will no longer live together.

WEEK 14: … on the 26th Day of October, 2014.

TOPIC: The Negative Side of God

The Negative Side of God is the place reserved for the Devil and his Cohorts (Ministers). The Children of Satan chose this place. What does this mean? They (Children of Satan) know that their Final Destination is the Negative Side of God.

TEXT: Matthew 25:31-46.

MEMORY VERSE: Matthew 25:46 – “And these will go away into Everlasting Punishment, but the righteous into ETERNAL LIFE”.

Why should God send His Creatures to Hell?

Because God TESTED them uncountable times whether they will change but they refused. He (God) sends prophets, wise men, scribes, to teach men His Good Way but many chose to be bad – Matthew 23:34-35 refers. God even left His Glory and came as Jesus (Immanuel), but many refused His Teachings and He was eventually crucified.

  • Let us look at the Bible to see some of the Sons of God who taught men the Good Way of God, and the response of God to their plea for mercy at the Time of Judgement – Jeremiah 15:1-3 and Ezekiel 14:13-14 (Persistent Unfaithfulness).
  • Some words of Jesus (Immanuel) that are worthy of note: John 9:27-30, 40-41, (Matthew 13:13-17 and 15:1-9).

TOPIC: The Way of God

The Way of God is ONE – it is the Way of Holiness, Goodness, Righteousness and Justice. Moses in Leviticus 19:2 says: “Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them; you shall be Holy, for I the Lord your God am Holy”. God wants all His children to be Holy, Good, Righteous and Just.

The Agonies of the Holy Man (Jesus): Matthew 26:47-50, 55-56, 65-68; 27:27-31, 35-54.

  • God came as the Son, and He displayed His Character physically on earth, but numerous rejected Him; as a matter of fact, they told Him categorically, we don’t like Your WAY, we like the WAY of Satan, your opposite. He (Jesus) was finally KILLED by the “WORLD. He (Jesus) gave a WORD of PROMISE: “I am coming again as the Son of Man”.

WEEK 16: … on the 9th Day of November, 2014.

TOPIC: The Word of God is Evergreen

The Word of God is New every morning and it is also Eternal. What does this mean? The Word of God is LIFE; if you don’t live it today, you will live it tomorrow. No wonder the Bible says in John 6:63 that: “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life”.

TEXT: Genesis 37:1-11.

MEMORY VERSE: Genesis 37:8 – “And his brothers said to him, shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us? So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words”.

How the words of God lived with Joseph (the Dreamer):

(Genesis 37:14-28; 39:1-23; 41:41-46; 45:7-8 and 43:26)

Joseph Dreams fulfilled with Agonies

  • In Potiphar’s  house: He (Potiphar) left all that he had in Joseph’s hand, and he did not know what he had except for the bread which he ate.
  • In Prison: The Keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison: whatever they did there, it was his doing.
  • In Egypt: Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt”. Pharaoh set Joseph over all the land of Egypt. He RULED Over All including the House of Pharaoh; it is only in regard to the throne was Pharaoh greater than Joseph.

WEEK 17: … on the 16th Day of November, 2014.

TOPIC: The Virtues of Jesus

Jesus Christ displayed uncountable virtues when He (God) became Man about 2000+ years ago, but he highlighted two powerful VIRTUES that can never be forgotten. They are HUMILITY and FEAR OF THE FATHER (God Almighty).

TEXT: Luke 22:24-27.

MEMORY VERSE: Luke 22:27 – “For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the ONE who serves”.

Let us look at the Bible to see more of the virtues of Humility and Fear of the Father displayed by Jesus (the Christ):

(John 13:12-17; 4:31-34; 5:19-20; 6:57) and Matthew 26:38-42.

What can we learn from these virtues (Humility and Fear of the Father)?

  • A servant of God must be HUMBLE.  Any person who says he is working for God and does not display the Humility of Jesus, is nothing but the servant of the Wicked One (Satan).
  • To walk with Jesus is to follow the Will of God. You don’t pray to PERVERT the WILL of the LIVING FATHER. Even if it means death; your position should be that of Shadrach, Meshach and AbedNego. If I perish, I perish! I MUST OBEY GOD!

Vocabularies:

WEEK 18: … on the 23rd Day of November, 2014.

TOPIC: The Reward of a Child of God

A Child of God is a person who out of his own FREE WILL decided to follow God after He (God) made Himself known to ALL. This person has decided right from the very beginning to follow God. What does this mean? He is a CHILD of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. As a matter of FACT, God knows this person right from the very beginning. In conclusion, if you follow God out of your own free will, your REWARD is to be used by God to achieve a PURPOSE.

TEXT: Luke 1:26-35.

MEMORY VERSE: Luke 1:33 – “And He (Immanuel) will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end”.

Let us look at the Bible in Luke 1:46-55 to study the Character of a CHILD of GOD, Mary:

The WORDS of Mary in Luke 1:46-55 revealed the following:

  • Mary is HUMBLE, and God is her SAVIOUR.
  • Mary Fears God and she exalts Him.
  • Mary is from a POOR FAMILY.
  • Mary fulfilled the Covenant of Abraham.
  • Mary recognized God as MIGHTY and HOLY.

NOTE: The mighty Prophet Isaiah spoke about the VIRGIN BIRTH in the Old Testament, Isaiah 7:14 and 9:6-7 refer. Mary was not the ONLY VIRGIN in Israel; God knows her from the FOUNDATION of the WORLD. Her name is in the Book of LIFE. The Final REWARD of MARY is to give birth to the SON OF GOD.

WEEK 19: … on the 30th Day of November, 2014.

TOPIC: Breaking Fallow Grounds

Fallow grounds, are grounds which have not been cultivated for a long time. Such a ground is reserved and left uncultivated for a time, so that it can yield FERTILE SEEDS. When you walk with God faithfully and obediently, you break fallow grounds. God has been using His Children to do that severally as recorded in the Bible. Noah, Moses, Daniel, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, are some examples.

TEXT: Ezekiel 2:1-10.

MEMORY VERSE: Ezekiel 2:5 – “As for them, whether they hear or whether they refuse – for they are a rebellious house – yet they will know that a Prophet has been among them”.

Let us study some words of God spoken through Ezekiel in the Bible:

Ezekiel 8:5-18 and 9:1-11.

The Concomitants of Ezekiel’s Ministry

  • As Ezekiel was Ministering, he was suffering along side: (Ezekiel 3:24-27; 4:4-6; 4:10-15 and 12:1-7).
  • Ezekiel lived to see the Judgement of God come to pass – Ezekiel 9:1-11.

Vocabularies:

Words                         Meaning

impudent         :           hard-hearted person

concomitants  :           things that happen at the same time as something else

The Source of ALL POWERS is JESUS CHRIST (GOD ALMIGHTY); when you hook-up to this POWER, the battle becomes “God’s Battle” not Man’s. This is the CONFIDENCE of all the Children of God. This source is simply called, the ALTAR OF CALVARY.

TEXT: Hebrews 7:18-28.

TOPIC: Soldiers of the Cross

The Soldiers of the Cross are the Martyrs of God. They are 144,000 in number. Abraham is the father of these CHILDREN. These are the DISCIPLES of Jesus that understood the last Gospel of God, called: The Doctrine of the CROSS. These SAINTS overcame by the BLOOD of the LAMB (Jesus). Their song is this: We are soldiers, soldiers of the cross, in the name of Jesus, “we shall conquer”. However, “we shall conquer” has changed to WE HAVE CONQUERED!

These are the Children of God who say: IF WE PERISH, WE PERISH! It is worth dying for a RIGHTEOUS CAUSE! In other words, Jesus is worth dying for; because HE died for us so that we can equally die for HIM!

WEEK 25: … on the 11th Day of January, 2015.

TOPIC: Standing on the Authority of God

The PROMISES of God are Yes and Amen. When He says: NO ONE can kill you, he means it. God is a Man of ONE WORD. Once He tells you a thing, it must surely come to PASS.

Almost all the Children of God in the Bible stood on the authority of the Almighty Creator because ALL POWER belongs to Him. This is why they were able to RULE their GENERATION. Examples of such in the Bible are: Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Elijah, Elisha, David, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel, Peter, Stephen, John the Beloved, etc.

TEXT: 2 Kings 1:1-18.

MEMORY VERSE: 2 Kings 1:10 – “So Elijah answered and said to the Captain of fifty, if I am a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men. And fire came down from Heaven and consumed him and his fifty”.

Let us look at a portion of the Bible where one Son of God also stood on the authority of God: Genesis 14:1-24.

  • All the sons of God in this Generation are ALL standing on the Authority of God, and may I let you know that Victory is CERTAINVictoria Aceta. After this, we shall march to Zion with our song: We are soldiers ….

WEEK 26: … on the 18th Day of January, 2015.

TOPIC: The Called and the Chosen Ones

The Called and the Chosen Ones are special kinds of people that God called into Different areas of Ministry; God did not only call them but He also EMPOWERED them for their specific Ministries. In other words, they were ANOINTED.

There is another set of people that are called but not Chosen – Matthew 22:14. God has a special reason for calling a man but not to be chosen at last.

Lastly, are the ones that are neither called nor chosen. They entered into Ministry because of the GAINS they envisaged. These types of so-called: “Prophets”, “Bishops”, “Apostles”, “Pastors”, “General Overseers”, “Arch-Bishops”, etc, are so many at this end time. God carefully set the end time in order for Him to reveal these ANTICHRISTS.

At the end time, Money will become god, and all these uncalled and non-chosen ones will rush into Ministry and carry the Bible to COVET; forgetting the Doctrine that completely Tests the WORLD – “If you want to follow Me (Jesus), deny yourself, carry your cross, and follow".

TEXT: Matthew 22:1-14.

MEMORY VERSE: Matthew 22:14 – “For many are called, but few are chosen”.

  • Bible verses that revealed some called and chosen ones: Abraham: Genesis 12:1-4; 20:7, Moses: Exodus 3:1-8, Jeremiah: Jeremiah 1:4-10 and Ezekiel: Ezekiel 3:1-9.

Vocabularies:

Words                         Meaning

empowered     :           gave power to

envisaged        :           reasoned ahead

anointed          :           fortified by God

WEEK 27: … on the 25th Day of January, 2015.

TOPIC: The Covenant Keeping God

A Covenant is an agreement between two or more parties. The agreement can be between two equal parties, or between a less and a higher party. Let us concern ourselves with the less and higher parties – in this case, the one between God and Man. Examples of such, are the COVENANTS between God and Noah, God and Abraham, God and David, etc.

TEXT: Genesis 6:9-22.

MEMORY VERSE: Genesis 6:18-19, “But I will establish my Covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark – you, your sons, your wife, and your son’s wives with you. And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female”.

  • There are two types of CLAUSES that can be found in a Covenant: the Conditional or the Unconditional CLAUSE.

In the Conditional Clause, there is the “If” attachment, while in the Unconditional, the word “if” is not attached. The Noahic and Abrahamic Covenants are Unconditional.

Let us look at the Bible to see the “CLAUSES” of these Covenants:

Genesis 8:20-22; 9:1-4; 9:9-16; 15:1-6 and 18; 17:1-19.

  • Covenants are the only way God relates with His Faithful Children. The Covenant He entered into with Abraham is Eternal. Abraham knows the meaning of this Covenant, that was why he waited for a CITY not built with HUMAN HANDS in the land of Canaan. He will enter into this CITY with the SAINTS in this GENERATION.

Wisdom Tip: To walk with God means: Talking, Hearing and Doing Relationship.
